Modern Workplace & Security Sessions

Employees expect to work securely from anywhere, on any device, and they put a high premium on work that enriches and fulfills them. When their productivity tools enhance the quality and effectiveness of their work experience, they’re happier, more valuable, and more likely to stay. Companies need to provide that empowerment, but they also need to protect vital IT assets. It’s a fundamental operational change for your customers—and an opportunity for you.

At Microsoft, we’re constantly exploring new technologies and processes to help ensure we have the most productive and secure environment for the company and for our customers and partners. Like many large enterprises, we need to ensure that we are implementing security controls that keep pace with the significant increase we’re seeing in mobile data usage, cloud adoption, digitization, and Bring Your Own Devices (BYODs).

Hybrid Work

Organizations everywhere have a growing need to support hybrid work, and in general, flexible work. Enabling an elastic workforce, temporary or seasonal workers, and people working across company-owned & personal devices — interns and contractors to software developers and industrial designers as some examples — are just some of the many ways they need to deliver agile and resilient solutions.

Session 1: Future of Work with M365 & Teams

When, where, and how we work is fundamentally changing. Microsoft is in a unique position to understand the secular trends that are reshaping the future of work today, and for decades to come. This session will cover the latest research and a framework for success for every IT professional and business leader to empower people for the new world of work, as well as the latest innovation in Microsoft 365 and Teams empowering human ingenuity at scale.

Session 2: Windows 365 - Hybrid Windows for a Hybrid World
The ability to work whenever, wherever, and however is essential in today’s world. Employees want technology that’s familiar, easy to use, and available across devices. A Cloud PC is a highly available, optimized, and scalable virtual machine (VM) providing employees with a rich Windows desktop experience. Windows 365 is a cloud-based service that provides the productivity, security, and collaboration benefits of Microsoft 365.

Protect and Govern

Considering over 80% of data within an organization is dark, customers are faced with solving an immediate need to cull the data surface area to protect more effectively against leaks or breaches. In this briefing, Microsoft Subject Matter Experts will share how customers can get on top of their data and how to close exposure and solve existing compliance and privacy challenges.
Session 1: Compliance in Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Purview
The evolution of data is complex, moving outside of the traditional borders of business, data has become the lifeblood of every business, but with the shift to hybrid work and unprecedented levels of digital transformation, an organization’s data now lives outside of the traditional borders of business resulting in organizations lacking visibility into their data estate.
Session 2: Protect and govern sensitive data
Over 30% of decision makers don’t know where or what their sensitive business-critical data is, making it nearly impossible for organizations to protect that data, close exposure gaps, comply with regulatory requirements, or even manage access controls. For data to fuel digital transformation, it must be readily discoverable, understandable, high quality, accessible and used in compliance with corporate, regulatory, privacy, risk and ethical standards.

Defend against Threats

The volume of security signals is overwhelming. And the combination of legacy and siloed tools makes it even harder for defenders to protect against today’s sophisticated and evolving attacks. Many businesses are not yet protecting their cloud assets to the same extent that their on-premises assets are protected, and hiring security talent is a challenge. As a result, many organizations have large gaps in visibility and coverage across their environment and are at risk.
Session 1: Stop attacks with XDR and Microsoft 365 Defender
This session provides an overview of the integrated XDR solution; Microsoft 365 Defender. Modern attacks are evolving, and security resources are stretched and often overwhelmed in signal data. XDR provides a cross-domain automated detection and remediation solution that analyzes all M365 alert data. With context across the organization, coordinated detection and remediation can be executed to stop attacks in their tracks.
Session 2: Microsoft Sentinel
Today more than ever, Security Operations Centers are tasked with modernizing threat response and improving efficiency. In this session, you will learn about the latest innovations from Microsoft Sentinel, the cloud native SIEM solution, which helps modernize SecOps using new behavioral analytics capabilities, automation, and more. This session will provide an overview of Microsoft Sentinel, teach you how to get started with it in your SOC, and show you how customers are applying these innovations to achieve stronger security.

What our participants say
